Mother's Day

Here's a picture of our cute kids on Mother's Day. I got a new dress, a decorated tissue box for stuffing plastic bags in from Isa, and a paper clip necklace that Bren made at school. (it might be too hard to see in the picture, but it's really cute!)

We hadn't cut our grass in a while and the weeds were as tall as Gabriela! She had fun playing with them while it lasted :)

So, as a natural progression, Gabriela has figured out how to climb the couch to open the back door. She pushes the door as hard as she can and then scrambles down off the couch and tries to run out before the door swings back closed. She hasn't made it yet, but it won't be long!

I just had an early sonogram on Tuesday and I am 7 weeks pregnant! Things are going well, except this time there seems to be an underlying nausea all day, which is suppressed only by eating every 1-2 hours. At this rate, I'm going to start wearing maternity clothes any day! The baby is the dark, backward "C" shaped thing in the middle. It looks like a shrimp :) and the white circle thing that extends from it is the egg sac. We got to see it in 4D real time, so we saw the heart beating and everything. My due date is January 14, which makes Danny very happy. (Bren & Isa share April for their b-day month, and Gabriela & I share October, so now he'll have someone to share with!)
