More Pictures

In the outfit I made for him a little while ago...

Ronan was wide awake during a diaper change and thought I'd take advantage of it by snapping a few pictures :)

Introducing Ronan

On Friday, March 26, Ronan Daniel Rock joined our family at 2:31am. He weighed in at a whopping 9lb 4oz, and was 20.75" long. I am so glad I was able to be induced and didn't go another week! More pictures to come...

Odyssey of the Mind

Brendan has been a part of the OM team for his 6th grade year, and really likes it. They just had Regionals on Saturday and his team took 2nd place, which qualified them for state! We're pretty excited and they will compete on the 17th of April, here in Tucson. Last year state was at Grand Canyon University, but this year we got lucky and won't have to travel!! That'll be SO nice w/a new baby at that point :)

Isa's Concerts

At the end of February, Isa had 2 concerts, a school district orchestra concert, and a 4th grade Rodeo concert. She played very well on her cello (I remembered to put her in pants this time instead of a skirt!) and did great playing her recorder and singing cowboy songs.

All the 4th grade kids got their pictures taken and put on a "wanted" poster (Isa's is just above her head). Gabriela had so much fun watching Isa and all the kids put on their Rodeo performance. There was square dancing, singing, and speaking parts. They all did great!

Dentist

At the end of January, we had all 4 kids go to the dentist in one afternoon. I'm so grateful for my older kids that were able to help with the little ones! It was probably a zoo for the employees, but they entertained the kids and the whole visit went really smooth. No cavities!!

Also, this was Emalyn's first visit, but she came 6 months ago to watch Gabriela, so it was familiar to her. She did great and let the hygienist clean her teeth and stayed still. She had to hang on to her Ariel polly pockets though :) Gabriela was a little concerned that Ema might get nervous, so she stood by her through it all. What a big sister! Emalyn was pretty excited to get her prize package at the end as well.
