Easter

The kids had so much fun coloring eggs for the Easter egg hunt later in the day.

Here they are all dressed up for church. So gorgeous!!

(maybe someday I'll be able to get ONE good shot)

Gabriela wanted to have her picture taken of her climbing; what she does best!

Yummy railing! (ewww!!)

My beautiful blue-eyed baby...
(you can click on the picture and the image will open up larger so you can see they are BLUE, well for now anyway)

It's so hard to pick just one sometimes.

2 months old

Emalyn is now 2 months old and has been talking non-stop since 4 weeks. If I drew my own conclusions about girls, I would say they are always talking based on my 3!

She was totally just chillin' on the couch, happy to have her picture taken.

She loves "peek-a-boo" and we get a great reaction from her each time :) She is so close to laughing, I can't wait!!

Along with the 2 month milestones, comes vaccinations. Poor kid had them in both legs, and cried terribly when she got stuck, but has been a champ since.

She loves to be held, and thankfully I have 2 extra sets of arms to help out with comforting her and her sore legs!

Big Girls & Blessing

Gabriela has been asking for earrings lately, so we told her that they are for big girls. She has really stepped up and taken on more "big girl" repsonsibilities and roles. She's finally being consistent waking up in the middle of the night if she has to go potty, so we've stopped using pull-ups at night! So, yesterday we went to the mall and got big girl earrings. As you can see, she's very proud of them!
Also, yesterday we hadn't finished washing her crib sheets so she slept in her big girl bed last night and actually stayed in it! We have a video monitor so I can see what's going on in there and she did get out of bed 1 or 2 times to move something or put something away and then went back to bed. (Our video doesn't capture the whole room, so I only saw the top of her head run one way and then back :)
At 6 1/2 weeks, Emalyn came down with a fever and a rash all over her body, so I took her in and it was most likely a virus. But, since she was under 8 weeks, they usually treat a fever with hospitalization since their immune system is so new, however she was low risk for anything serious, so they let her stay home and just ran a bunch of labs. They took a blood and urine culture to screen for meningitis and a UTI, and after a couple days everything came back negative. Phew! She looked so cute with her rosy cheeks, I had to take some pictures!
Last Sunday we had Emalyn's baby blessing and she wore the dress that my mom wore, that I wore (and all my sisters), and my girls wore for their blessings. What a great tradition!
Oh, and with 4 kids I have found that I can never seem to get all of them looking great at the same time anymore! So, I had to include a couple of all of them to appreciate the craziness.
