Smiles, v-day, & deals...

So, baby acne kicked in to high gear right after she turned 2 weeks. It finally cleared up a couple of days ago, so a total of 4 weeks looking pretty rough. Poor kid. Also, she has a nice little something on the side of her face from Gabriela. I left them alone for a second and Gabs said she gave her a kiss. Must have been a pretty good one! Emalyn didn't cry, so who knows!!

We got a shot of her right after she started smiling at 4 weeks. She also started "cooing" the same day, so she'll alternate and do both, which melts our hearts :)

Gabriela goes to Music Makers every Monday and loves it. So, for Valentine's Day they passed out cards and she was so excited to help make them, pass them out, and of course, get them! Here she is going through them looking at each card trying to decide who gave her what.

So, I was looking at craigslist for a new pack n' play, just browsing and wishing mostly, and found this one for $90 obo. It's originally $170, so I went over to her house to check it out asap! It was only 5-6 months old and she said her daughter never uses it because she's always held or in the swing. It was immaculate, but it was missing the instruction manual and diaper stacker, so I offered $75 and she took it (oh, and we had just sold our old playard for $25, so it was like we only paid $50)!! I gave it a thorough cleaning anyway and has been used every day since. It's so nice to have it in our office because we are always at this end of the house.
