Brendan tuned 12 this month and in our church, it's kind of a big deal. He leaves the "little kids" program, called
Primary, and enters the youth program, called Young Men's. He's joined the YM's basketball team and is loving it! I've yet to see him play, but Danny has and says Bren is really enjoying it and the other boys are good sports ;) Another important thing that happens at 12 for the boys, is receiving the
Priesthood. We are so proud of Brendan and all of his hard work and accomplishments to be worthy to receive the Priesthood. He was able to pass the
Sacrament for the first time the Sunday that Ronan was blessed.
Last Sunday, Danny was able to bless Ronan, and it was a beautiful blessing. Ronan was pretty peaceful through it and even threw up a sign to show he was "chill" while I was taking pictures :) We were excited to have both our families there for it. Since there are so many of us now, we had to divide families up to take pictures...

My family (minus 9)...and Gabriela...we couldn't find her and later realized she ran off to class! Can't discourage that choice :)

What a great looking family! :o) And Brendan looks very handsome and grown-up!
Congrats to Brendan! I was always so impressed with him. He's turning into a fine young man.
